This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Establish MCU requirements for managing server platforms, satellite controllers, and distributed control across compute, accelerator, storage, power, and cooling subsystems.

• Convert customer and market feedback into Market Requirement Documents (MRDs), business cases, roadmap proposals, and investment priorities.

• Define use cases for rack-level monitoring and control, board housekeeping, power sequencing, reset control, sensor aggregation, telemetry, thermal management, power capping, fault reporting, and recovery.

• Develop comprehensive solutions that encompass silicon, embedded firmware, management protocol stacks, SDKs, tools/GUIs, reference designs, and customer-specific tools and application layers.

• Spearhead technical discovery sessions with hyperscaler platform teams, server OEMs/ODMs, BMC and firmware vendors, accelerator platform teams, and partners in power and cooling.

• Map out server and rack management architectures, controller placements, sideband connectivity, firmware ownership, and requirements for availability, serviceability, security, and lifecycle.

• Evaluate competitors and alternatives, translating insights into distinctive positioning and strategic roadmap decisions.

• Monitor OCP initiatives and DMTF standards, including DC-SCM/DC-SCI, MCTP, PLDM, SPDM, and Redfish.

• Develop positioning, messaging, launch strategies, sales enablement materials, customer presentations, and competitive analysis briefs.

• Position Renesas MCUs as solutions for BMC companions and satellite controllers.

• Assist in design-in efforts alongside sales, field applications, and customer engineering teams.

• Ensure alignment across product line, architecture, silicon, software, applications, sales, and strategic customer teams.

• Lead reviews for product concepts, business cases, roadmap decisions, launch readiness, and customer priorities.

• Align silicon and firmware plans with customer platform timelines, BMC integration, protocol interoperability, reference design validation, and deployment support.
