This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and develop the bank's essential backend, including microservices, transactional persistence schemas, event messaging endpoints, and internal APIs.

• Create reconciliation architecture to ensure alignment between fiat subledger, reserve accounts, and on-chain token supply.

• Construct a secure event messaging layer that synchronizes core ledger transactions with custody platform minting and burning actions.

• Act as the technical lead and mentor for the Core Backend team.

• Set standards for code reviews, testing, observability, and deployment suitable for a regulated banking environment.

• Integrate automated sanctions screening connectors featuring auditable screening and case escalation processes.

• Collaborate with the SRE Lead on multi-region availability, failover objectives, and real-time ledger notifications.

• Partner with the Security team on IAM, key management interfaces, and threat modeling for minting and burning pipelines.

• Assist in UAT, feature freezes, and external control validation in preparation for the pre-opening examination.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of experience in software engineering.

• More than 5 years of hands-on experience architecting high-integrity transactional systems, including banking cores, payments ledgers, exchanges, or settlement infrastructures.

• Extensive knowledge of event-driven architecture, exactly-once processing semantics, idempotency, and large-scale reconciliation.

• Practical experience with Kubernetes, Infrastructure-as-Code, and multi-region deployment in a regulated or audited setting.

• Proven ability in designing immutable transaction logs, reconciliation controls, and automated evidence generation for examiners and external auditors.

• Demonstrated success in enhancing the technical performance of senior engineers, establishing architectural standards, and managing delivery from start to finish.

• Capability to produce system architecture documentation that can endure rigorous regulatory and audit evaluations.
