Senior Staff Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee, configure, and manage Jira, Jira Service Management (JSM), Confluence, and Bitbucket environments.

• Create and implement customizations such as workflows, screens, schemes, permissions, issue types, and field configurations tailored to business needs.

• Collaborate directly with customer stakeholders to gather requirements, propose solutions, and deliver enhancements autonomously.

• Set up, evaluate, and maintain Atlassian Marketplace plugins and third-party integrations.

• Develop and uphold automation rules for Jira and Confluence to enhance operational efficiency.

• Generate and manage reports, dashboards, filters, and metrics to facilitate business and project tracking.

• Assist with migration, implementation, administration, and troubleshooting within both Cloud and On-Premise Atlassian environments.

• Partner with Agile teams and support Scrum and Kanban methodologies through efficient tool configuration.

• Assess and integrate Atlassian AI and ROVO capabilities to boost productivity and knowledge management.

• Prepare technical documentation, offer user support, and ensure compliance with Atlassian administration best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7.5 years of relevant experience.

• Extensive hands-on experience in Jira Administration and Confluence Administration.

• Solid understanding of Atlassian applications including Jira, Jira Service Management (JSM), Confluence, and Bitbucket.

• Proven experience in configuring and customizing workflows, screens, issue types, schemes, permissions, notifications, and field configurations.

• Practical experience with both Atlassian Cloud and Data Center (On-Premise) environments.

• Experience in implementing and troubleshooting Atlassian Marketplace plugins and applications.

• Good knowledge of Jira and Confluence Automation features.

• Strong experience in developing reports, dashboards, filters, and gadgets.

• Understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

• Familiarity with Atlassian Intelligence (AI) and ROVO capabilities.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving abilities with a proven capability to work independently.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
