This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver technical assistance to global Product Technical Support Tier I, II, and VI teams, as well as Field Sales & Service organizations, to address intricate technical challenges.
• Offer technical support for the New Product Introduction (NPI) team while creating and updating instructional materials.
• Provide daily technical assistance to key accounts and Product Technical Support Tiers II and VI globally through site visits, phone calls, faxes, or emails.
• Develop and update technical service bulletins and service letters in collaboration with the publishing team located in Cork, Ireland.
• Enhance product reliability by driving the Continuous Improvement Process for both existing and newly launched products.
• Aid quality and engineering teams in optimizing overall lifecycle costs.
• Assist in the formulation of test plans for both new and existing product equipment offerings.
• Devise innovative, measurable-value solutions for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Evaluate problems and opportunities, assess alternatives, and make prompt decisions.
• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Over 8 years of experience in power electronics.
• Familiarity with starters and variable speed drives.
• Capability to analyze and resolve intricate product power electronic issues.
• Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation or manuals.
• Preferred: experience with power electronics related to HVAC&R products.
