This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a subject matter expert in security architecture for AWS and Azure application and infrastructure deployments.
• Perform security architecture assessments within the enterprise architecture domain governance framework.
• Create target system architectures adhering to secure-by-design principles and security best practices.
• Compose and disseminate risk assessment reports that detail cyber risks and mitigating controls.
• Develop reusable solution patterns to enhance clarity, consistency, and alignment across various designs.
• Formulate security-related policies, standards, and documentation based on leading practices.
• Investigate emerging technologies, industry advancements, and market trends to aid in enterprise project execution and operations.
• Act as a technical leader by keeping abreast of technology and security trends.
• Foster relationships with peers, cross-functional teams, and different business units to exchange best practices and enhance team performance.
• Influence the function and business while collaborating with the larger security architecture team.
• A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in enterprise IT and/or cybersecurity.
• At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity architecture.
• Proficiency in designing secure solutions within AWS and Azure environments.
• Familiarity with threat modeling and multi-tier web applications.
• Knowledge of pertinent security standards.
• An industry-recognized security certification such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security, or Azure Security certification.
• Experience collaborating with solution architects to create secure systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
• Skill in influencing, building consensus, and aligning stakeholders across Digital Technology teams and leadership.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to quickly learn, apply sound judgment, and engage in continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in synthesizing stakeholder feedback and converting complex business and technical requirements into practical security guidance.
