Senior SRE / DevOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with our environmental team to suggest innovative technologies or modifications to the existing platform.

• Prioritize the performance and stability of the entire production system.

• Involve yourself in the establishment of new environments for upcoming solutions.

• Evaluate the current platform to recommend new strategies that enhance performance, stability, or cost-efficiency.

• Regularly assess Segware's solutions for opportunities to reduce costs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6–8 years of experience in SRE/DevOps roles.

• Proficient in managing complex environments, ensuring high availability, and handling large workloads.

• Proven experience in infrastructure migrations, cost reduction strategies, and performance optimization.

• Demonstrated ability to lead projects focused on automation, architecture, or enhancements to production systems.

• Proficient in technical English for documentation comprehension.

• Familiarity with Linux operating systems.

• Experience managing relational and non-relational databases, including MySQL and MongoDB.

• Proficient in using Docker.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and Git.

• Experience with AWS cloud services.

• Familiarity with Apache Kafka.

• Experience with Docker Swarm and/or Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of Redis.

• Experience with distributed and multithreaded applications.

• Proficient in performance analysis and optimization of algorithms and SQL queries.
