Senior SRE – Affirmative Action Vacancy for Women

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as a technical authority for Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) methodologies;

• Assist teams in establishing and adopting standards, frameworks, and best practices for reliability and operations;

• Design, implement, and enhance solutions for observability, monitoring, and alerting;

• Automate operational procedures to minimize manual errors;

• Analyze incidents and performance issues, performing root cause analyses (RCA);

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring the quality, security, and efficiency of deliveries;

• Utilize infrastructure as code to facilitate scalable, resilient, and reproducible environments;

• Contribute to the architectural advancement of systems utilizing microservices and containers.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS;

• Extensive experience with microservices and container-based architectures;

• Practical experience with Kubernetes in live production settings;

• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC), employing tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation;

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (using Bitbucket, Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools);

• Proficiency in programming and/or scripting languages, including Python and Node.js;

• Strong analytical capabilities for diagnosing and resolving complex issues;

• Demonstrated experience in critical, high-availability environments.

• Preferred/Desirable:

• Relevant technical certifications (AWS, Kubernetes, HashiCorp, etc.);

• Experience in designing high-performance, scalable solutions;

• Practical experience managing and operating Kubernetes clusters;

• Background in instrumentation and distributed tracing using OpenTelemetry;

• Comprehensive understanding of application observability (logs, metrics, and traces);

• Advanced skills in Python and Node.js.
