Senior SQL Developer – SSIS, Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design, maintain, and enhance intricate SQL stored procedures, views, and queries.

• Create and improve SSIS packages for data integration and loading (ETL).

• Ensure the efficiency, quality, and dependability of data processes.

• Investigate incidents within the pipeline and recommend lasting solutions.

• Participate in database migration, integration, and consolidation initiatives.

• Document data development methodologies and best practices.

• Collaborate with business, BI, and product teams to comprehend their requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with SQL Server (advanced T-SQL, performance tuning, and modeling).

• Demonstrated expertise with SSIS, encompassing package design, development, and maintenance.

• Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and the integration of various data sources.

• Understanding of code version control (Git or similar).

• Capability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve intricate problems.

• Excellent communication skills for engaging with both technical and business teams.

• Nice to have: experience with SSAS, SSRS, Azure Data Factory, or other integration tools.

• Nice to have: prior experience in Data Warehouse or Data Lake settings.

• Nice to have: awareness of dimensional modeling and data architecture best practices.

• Nice to have: experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
