Senior Specialist – Valuations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Conduct portfolio valuations for venture capital and private equity funds, as well as business valuations for early-stage companies backed by venture capital, ensuring compliance with AICPA fair value standards.

• Manage client engagements, which includes collecting and reviewing source data, overseeing project management, communicating timelines and deliverables, and providing audit support.

• Establish valuations for new clients during the onboarding process.

• Facilitate training sessions on the usage of the platform.

• Assist the Implementation team in interpreting financial and legal documents necessary for onboarding.

• Address client inquiries and resolve requests in collaboration with the Client Engagement and Support teams.

• Contribute to the development and improvement of proprietary valuation models and software applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience, particularly with ASC 820.

• Strong comprehension of private market valuation methodologies, including Black-Scholes OPM.

• Capability to perform valuations for venture capital/private equity portfolios and early-stage companies with intricate capital structures.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel at an advanced level.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Proficient in working efficiently under tight deadlines within a collaborative team environment.

• Must possess the indefinite right to work in the United States.

• A post-graduate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.

• CPA, CFA, or another relevant certification is preferred.

• Familiarity with SaaS business models is preferred.
