This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +12 more states.
• Act as the subject matter expert for the pharmacy network concerning all RFP, RFI, and proposal-related questions.
• Create, review, and sustain standardized content for pharmacy network responses within RFPIO/content libraries.
• Ensure that responses are accurate, cohesive, and in line with the current network strategy, pricing models, and contractual agreements.
• Collaborate across departments to collect inputs and provide high-quality, client-ready responses.
• Investigate, prioritize, and address pharmacy network service requests, which include questions about network structure and participation, pharmacy setup and configuration, claims, pricing, or access-related inquiries, as well as client and internal escalations.
• Act as a primary contact for network-related questions, ensuring effective communication and prompt follow-up.
• Collaborate with internal teams (such as Network Operations, Contracting, Analytics, Implementation) to assess issues and facilitate resolutions.
• Monitor inquiries until completion, ensuring accurate and thorough resolutions along with proper documentation.
• Recognize recurring issues and escalate trends for improved processes or root cause analysis.
• Identify and implement enhancements to improve RFP turnaround times, response quality, and service request resolution efficiency.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including RFP turnaround time, service request resolution time, response accuracy/rework rate, and knowledge base usage.
• Contribute to cross-departmental process improvements and standardization initiatives.
• Utilize insights to enhance both RFP responses and service solutions.
• Perform other assigned duties.
• A bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business management, pharmacy, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, is required.
• Pharmacy technician certification is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of business experience in PBM sales, proposals, client management, or project management is required.
• A strong understanding of PBM processes, pharmacy benefits, and healthcare industry regulations is essential.
• Preferably, 3 years of experience in business, finance, or economics.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
• The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with colleagues is essential.
