This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +4 more states.
β’ Drive the development of new suppliers and cultivate strategic alliances.
β’ Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure effective development of new sourcing options.
β’ Evaluate metal products, precision machining, and the supply chain of raw materials to devise strategies that align with DoD programs.
β’ Assist in the planning and implementation of critical precision machining initiatives across various programs targeted for growth by the business, including those focused on the Munition Acceleration Committee (MAC).
β’ Oversee budgets related to capacity projects.
β’ 20% travel required to visit supplier locations.
β’ Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant machining experience.
β’ Graduate Degree with at least 4 years of related machining experience.
β’ Alternatively, a minimum of 10 years of relevant machining experience without a degree.
β’ Preferred experience in supply chain management related to precision machining, rare earth minerals, castings, and forgings.
β’ A graduate degree or a focus on supply chain management is preferred.
β’ A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering is preferred.
β’ Proficient in computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office products, as well as knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.
β’ Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple project tasks simultaneously.
β’ Capable of leading meetings, creating presentation materials, and reporting on project earned value variances.
