Senior Specialist, Microsoft Cloud & Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, manage, and enhance Microsoft 365 environments.

• Oversee Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and additional services within the M365 ecosystem.

• Establish and sustain Microsoft Purview solutions, including classification, labeling, retention, auditing, and information protection.

• Develop, review, and supervise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies for endpoints, email, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

• Manage Microsoft Entra ID, including users, groups, RBAC, MFA, Conditional Access, Identity Protection, and Privileged Identity Management.

• Design and sustain hybrid identity environments that integrate AD DS and Entra ID.

• Administer Active Directory Domain Services, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, trusts, replication, sites, and services.

• Plan and execute identity, email, file, and workload migrations to Microsoft 365 and Azure.

• Design, deploy, and maintain resources in Microsoft Azure, focusing on security, availability, performance, and cost optimization.

• Investigate and resolve intricate infrastructure, identity, security, and collaboration incidents.

• Evaluate risks, vulnerabilities, and configurations, proposing remediation plans and ongoing improvement initiatives.

• Generate technical documentation, diagrams, operating procedures, and implementation plans.

• Offer technical support to less experienced professionals, encouraging knowledge sharing and best practices.

• Engage in technical meetings with clients, gathering requirements, designing solutions, and delivering executive presentations.

• Support technical estimates and assist in the development of project scopes and managed services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience in Microsoft 365 administration and architecture.

• Practical experience with Microsoft Purview and DLP policies.

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and identity and access management.

• Advanced understanding of AD DS, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.

• Experience with hybrid identity environments and directory synchronization.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, especially regarding identity, networking, virtual machines, storage, monitoring, and security.

• Familiarity with Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.

• Experience with MFA, Conditional Access, RBAC, and Zero Trust principles.

• Capability to conduct advanced troubleshooting and manage high-severity incidents.

• Proficiency in PowerShell for administration and automation within the Microsoft ecosystem.

• Experience in preparing documentation and leading technical projects.

• Knowledge of or certifications in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) are advantageous.

• Experience with multicloud architectures and hybrid environments is beneficial.

• Microsoft certifications in Azure, Security, Identity, Compliance, and Microsoft 365 are a plus.

• Experience with Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Intune, and endpoint management is favorable.

• Familiarity with VMware, Hyper-V, Kubernetes, Linux, and backup technologies is a plus.

• Knowledge of ITIL, service management, Tier 3 support, and mission-critical operations is an advantage.

• Understanding of networking, VPNs, firewalls, high availability, and disaster recovery is a plus.

• Proficiency in technical English for reading documentation, participating in training, and interacting with vendors is advantageous.

• A Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Information Technology, Networking, Information Systems, Information Security, or a related field.

• Relevant hands-on experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
