Senior Specialist, Media Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the creation and implementation of media plans while independently managing client communications and platform training sessions.

• Take charge of media strategy and campaign planning, including the development and ongoing management of our clients’ media initiatives, alongside quality assurance.

• Establish trust and rapport with clients, managing communications and updates, addressing review requests and inquiries, and resolving issues related to platforms and media execution.

• Collaborate effectively with team members to fulfill daily tasks for both clients and internal projects, while proactively mentoring junior team members who require assistance with their responsibilities (both internal and external).

• Partner with colleagues to gather insights from both internal and external sources.

• Understand and respond to the explicit motivations and needs of both internal and external stakeholders, building foundational trust and rapport through effective written and verbal communication while striving to enhance the client experience.

• Execute tasks on media platforms across Programmatic, Social, and Search channels, including, but not limited to…

• Leverage internal tools and processes for daily operations and task completion, such as Slack, GSuite, Salesforce, Workday, etc.

• Stay informed about Monks' offerings and developments within the advertising industry, identifying opportunities to improve client services.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a relevant media role or environment.

• Intermediate proficiency in at least three platforms relevant to our Media team, along with a conceptual understanding of the Media landscape and the integration of various platforms within it.

• Capability to identify and respond to explicitly stated challenges, obstacles, and actionable next steps.

• Proficient in working with and contextualizing data regularly, which includes recognizing necessary and/or beneficial inputs, accurately manipulating data sets, and analyzing data to discern trends, outliers, and significant results.

• Skilled at hosting 'professional-grade' meetings complete with structured agendas.

• Capacity to meet self-imposed and external deadlines, honor and fulfill verbal and written commitments, demonstrate attention to detail in personal work and that of others, and utilize professional formatting in personal work while identifying areas for improvement in formatting in both personal and others’ work.

• Strong organizational abilities to manage individual tasks and larger initiatives, while balancing personal work with team requirements and priorities.

• High levels of self-awareness and social awareness, showcasing the ability to manage personal stress and understand how to collaborate effectively with clients, teams, and individual colleagues.

• Ability to identify areas for improvement and foster the development of others.
