This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Assist Learning Directors and Learning Partners in implementing the L&D strategy.
• Provide consultation and deliver suitable learning solutions.
• Integrate business priorities, processes, and best practices to enhance learning solutions.
• Collaborate with divisional stakeholders to pinpoint performance needs and gaps.
• Partner with design specialists and operational support teams to achieve performance and business outcomes.
• Establish and nurture robust business relationships while leveraging insights from a comprehensive learning network.
• Implement Ophthalmology learning and development solutions within designated business areas.
• Lead projects in the portfolio to fulfill business requirements.
• Offer subject-matter expertise, ensuring learning solutions are relevant, impactful, and compelling.
• Assist in defining business and learning outcomes.
• Measure and report the impact of learning programs against established metrics, adjusting solutions as necessary.
• Support management and collaborate with colleagues on coordinated L&D planning and execution.
• Deliver or facilitate training content, or provide support and coaching to L&D colleagues and subject-matter experts.
• Oversee and monitor financial commitments related to learning solutions.
• Leverage data insights to influence solutions and outcomes.
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree, currently pursuing degree completion, or equivalent relevant experience in Human Resources or a related field.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience, or 4+ years with a Master’s degree.
• Experience in Ophthalmology, either in a sales or learning/education role.
• Background in learning, talent, HR, or similar fields.
• Familiarity with applicable technical/professional areas relevant to the division/function served.
• Proven experience in facilitating and delivering learning solutions.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to engage in discussions about business strategy, goals, and outcomes.
• Capability to apply external best practices.
• Proficient in partnering, collaborating, and influencing decisions across all levels.
• Ability to build and sustain essential networks and collaborative relationships.
• Creative thinking skills and the ability to apply tools and techniques to grasp new concepts.
• Experience in business consulting and coaching clients.
• Excellent verbal, written, and executive-level presentation skills.
• Proficient in using methods, assumptions, frameworks, and perspectives for effective problem-solving and decision-making.
• Competence in prioritizing work and utilizing existing resources effectively.
• Strong data analytics skills, including the ability to analyze and interpret data.
• Experience in project planning and management.
• Knowledge of L&D policies, standards, procedures, and industry/organization practices.
• Familiarity with adult learning theory and its application.
• Experience in assessing competency gaps and performing learning needs analysis.
