This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.
β’ Assist in sourcing projects, strategies, and contract implementation.
β’ Perform spend and usage analysis, conduct market research, and assess the supplier landscape to uncover cost-saving measures, risk mitigation strategies, and value enhancement opportunities.
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders to establish business requirements, create RFx documents, and assess vendor proposals.
β’ Aid in developing negotiation strategies for vendor agreements, statements of work (SOWs), software licensing contracts, and other commercial agreements.
β’ Work alongside Legal, Finance, Security, and stakeholders during the contract review and execution phases.
β’ Identify potential for demand management and operational efficiencies.
β’ Oversee project planning, communication with stakeholders, and progress reporting.
β’ Provide presentations and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
β’ 3 to 5+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Category Management, or Supply Chain with an emphasis on technology expenditures is essential.
β’ A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, IT, Mathematics, or a related field is required.
β’ Experience in sourcing and vendor contracting for software, SaaS, cloud services, AI solutions, technology consulting, telecommunications, and other IT-related categories.
β’ Familiarity with AI technologies and AI service providers, including ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.
β’ Proficiency in utilizing AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.
β’ Background in reviewing and negotiating contracts in collaboration with Legal teams.
β’ Prior experience in a professional services or public accounting setting is advantageous.
β’ Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are necessary.
β’ Strong verbal, written, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities are essential.
β’ Experience with contract lifecycle management tools (Icertis or similar) is preferred.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft 365 applications.
β’ Project Management skills are required.
β’ Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, CPM, PMP, CPIM, or Six Sigma are desirable.
