Senior Sourcing Analyst, IT and AI Procurement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in sourcing projects, strategies, and contract implementation.

• Perform spend and usage analysis, conduct market research, and assess the supplier landscape to uncover cost-saving measures, risk mitigation strategies, and value enhancement opportunities.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish business requirements, create RFx documents, and assess vendor proposals.

• Aid in developing negotiation strategies for vendor agreements, statements of work (SOWs), software licensing contracts, and other commercial agreements.

• Work alongside Legal, Finance, Security, and stakeholders during the contract review and execution phases.

• Identify potential for demand management and operational efficiencies.

• Oversee project planning, communication with stakeholders, and progress reporting.

• Provide presentations and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 5+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Category Management, or Supply Chain with an emphasis on technology expenditures is essential.

• A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, IT, Mathematics, or a related field is required.

• Experience in sourcing and vendor contracting for software, SaaS, cloud services, AI solutions, technology consulting, telecommunications, and other IT-related categories.

• Familiarity with AI technologies and AI service providers, including ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.

• Proficiency in utilizing AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.

• Background in reviewing and negotiating contracts in collaboration with Legal teams.

• Prior experience in a professional services or public accounting setting is advantageous.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are necessary.

• Strong verbal, written, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities are essential.

• Experience with contract lifecycle management tools (Icertis or similar) is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft 365 applications.

• Project Management skills are required.

• Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, CPM, PMP, CPIM, or Six Sigma are desirable.
