Senior Solutions Engineer – SLED

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Articulate F5’s strategy and value in alignment with customer business outcomes.

• Execute technical sales efforts, including presentations, solution design, demonstrations, and proofs of concept (POCs).

• Assess opportunities and identify customer organizational and technical stakeholders.

• Collaborate with account teams to drive deals by engaging with technical decision-makers.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to confirm requirements and facilitate solution adoption.

• Ensure consistent, high-quality customer engagement throughout the lifecycle.

• Work across teams to share knowledge and support strategic opportunities.

• Lead the design and positioning of F5 Distributed Cloud solutions for secure, cloud-native architectures.

• Provide guidance on API security strategies to safeguard and scale customer environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with F5 Products, including BIG-IP, NGINX, and Distributed Cloud Services.

• In-depth understanding of application delivery controllers and TCP/IP networking.

• Familiarity with application authentication methods such as SAML, OAUTH, OIDC, and JWT.

• Knowledge of contemporary application delivery methods utilizing microservices.

• Experience in advanced security and infrastructure operations.

• Insight into challenges faced in production environments and strategies to address them.

• A proactive approach to industry trends and challenges, including AI and PQC.

• Over 5 years of relevant industry experience.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Familiarity or experience with F5 or similar industry solution deployments is advantageous.

• Backgrounds in security, network, and/or infrastructure engineering are highly valued.

• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills are essential.

• Capability to collaborate and excel in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
