Senior Solutions Engineer – RFx & Proposal Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee global RFx response initiatives (RFPs, RFIs, security questionnaires), ensuring coherence among sales, presales, and product teams while managing the complete RFx process—from intake and planning to submission.

• Serve as the primary contact for all technical content development, ensuring precision, consistency, and messaging alignment across product domains such as integration & automation, API management, data management, AI management, and more.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales engineers, security, legal, and product subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather, curate, and refresh technical content utilized in proposals.

• Monitor and report on essential metrics, bottlenecks, and potential improvement areas within the technical content development and delivery processes, driving ongoing optimization efforts.

• Develop and enhance a repository of standard responses, templates, and reusable technical assets for solutions and proposals.

• Create scalable and reusable integration solutions by aligning customer business strategies with technical capabilities, working closely with field solution engineers and presales teams.

• Facilitate technical validation through architecture reviews, feasibility assessments, and proof-of-concepts to ensure that proposed integration solutions adhere to established standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in presales, RFx/program management, solution engineering, or proposal development.

• Strong knowledge of the RFx lifecycle, with proven experience in managing or contributing to technical RFP/RFI responses.

• Availability to maintain key working hours that overlap with US EST for cross-regional collaboration.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities; capable of collaborating across functions and different geographies.

• Strong technical writing and editing capabilities; meticulous attention to detail in formatting, tone, and accuracy.

• Experience operating in fast-paced environments with distributed teams.

• Self-motivated attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Familiarity with RFx automation tools or knowledge base systems (e.g., Loopio, Conveyor) is highly advantageous.

• Boomi certification(s) or equivalent hands-on project experience is a plus.

• Practical understanding of the Boomi platform, encompassing integration, API management, master data hub, and AI functionalities.

• Knowledge of SaaS/cloud-based architectures and enterprise IT ecosystems.
