Senior Solutions Engineer – Cybercrime

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the sales team to effectively communicate the benefits of the Flare platform to potential clients.

• Assess customer requirements, address technical inquiries, and showcase platform functionalities by identifying a prospect's vulnerabilities.

• Create use cases, develop technical demonstrations, and oversee Proof of Concepts (POCs) from start to finish.

• Establish strong connections with technical stakeholders within customer organizations.

• Provide threat briefings to sector ISACs (FS-ISAC, H-ISAC, RH-ISAC), linking ongoing cybercrime activities to the vulnerabilities faced by member organizations.

• Serve as the intermediary analyst for enterprise clients and prospects, interpreting Flare's findings in real time, including leaked credentials, exposed infrastructure, threat actor mentions, and infostealer infections related to their environment.

• Educate sales team members on the technical features of Flare’s platform.

• Function as a technical consultant across Flare, assisting product, marketing, and other initiatives.

• Work in conjunction with the Threat Intelligence Research team, relaying field observations back into research and product development, and contributing findings to external content when applicable.

• Remain updated on the cyber threat intelligence (CTI) and cybercrime landscape, aligning that knowledge with customer risks.

• Represent Flare at events, speaking engagements, and webinars; contribute to resources such as tutorials and videos.

• Assist in deal execution across various time zones (from East to West coast), as needed.

• Willingness to travel as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant pre- and/or post-sales experience with a cybersecurity vendor in the threat intelligence sector.

• Practical knowledge of the cybercrime ecosystem: stealer logs, phishing kits, underground forums and markets, Telegram, and the actors and infrastructure associated with them.

• Ability to write basic automations in Python or Go.

• Comfortable serving as the primary technical contact throughout the sales process, leading demonstrations, managing POCs, and addressing obstacles.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to thorough, accurate documentation.

• Consistently provide updates to stakeholders, ensuring no one has to follow up.

• Expertise in cybersecurity, OSINT, or threat intelligence, particularly in areas such as Cybercrime, e-crime, or dark web investigations; Incident Response; Penetration testing or Red Teaming; Threat Hunting & Research.

• Confident in delivering threat briefings to community or ISAC audiences, beyond just customer demonstrations.

• Able to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences, from analysts to executives.

• Comfortable with structured processes yet able to thrive in the uncertainty of a startup environment (“building the plane as it’s flying”).

• Demonstrate curiosity and empathy, genuinely caring about clients and colleagues.
