Business Intelligence Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Engages in the collection, maintenance, and analysis of data to facilitate evaluation, assessment, and strategic planning.

• Responsible for employing strategies and technologies to analyze both current and historical data.

• Designs, develops, and maintains interactive Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models.

• Develops efficient and scalable methods for identifying data patterns and trends.

• Undertakes specialized assignments; resolves complex issues and creates innovative solutions.

• Identifies opportunities to automate manual reporting processes by utilizing approved AI technologies.

• Analyzes the internal and external business environment to comprehend the relationship between processes and systems.

• Suggests best practices to enhance processes or services based on data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities.

• Designs and supports ETL processes, data pipelines, and data transformation workflows.

• Contributes to the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives.

• Utilizes exceptional verbal and written communication skills to convey complex concepts.

• May lead functional projects that involve moderate risks and resource requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.

• Strong technical proficiency in Power BI Desktop & Power BI Service, SQL, and data modeling.

• Advanced skills in DAX, Power Query, M Language, and analytics solution development.

• Database expertise, including writing complex queries, data manipulation, and query optimization.

• Proven experience in developing and supporting end-to-end analytics solutions from source systems to executive dashboards.

• Familiarity with relational databases, dimensional data modeling, ETL processes, data integration, and data pipeline concepts.

• Typically requires over 5 years of related work experience.
