Senior Solutions Architect, Intelligent Ops, DevOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Comprehend the current state of the customer.

• Proactively drive the discovery and understanding of the customer’s IT current state, objectives, outcomes, and initiatives across Business, Technical, Operational, and Financial areas.

• Investigate industry trends and topics to develop discovery methodologies.

• Organize and facilitate workshops to enhance relevant discovery processes.

• Document the customer’s current state to aid both the customer and sales teams in targeting future state architectures and roadmaps.

• Leadership in Technical Opportunities.

• Identify customer stakeholders along with their individual success criteria and requirements.

• Develop and direct technical solution strategies and next steps that align with customer stakeholders.

• Coordinate, vet, and align technical resources from Presidio and vendor partners as necessary.

• Directly engage with Manager/VP/Director level clients.

• Solution Architecture, Design, and Documentation.

• Analyze and evaluate client requirements to define target architecture and design solutions (HW, SW, Licensing, Cloud services, Managed Services, Delivery Services, etc.) and roadmaps.

• Create and present compelling technical proposals directly to clients, including pertinent drawings, diagrams, and analyses.

• Technical Excellence & Evangelism.

• Maintain a high standard of technical excellence and evangelism across various relevant solution architecture and product domains.

• Lead the curation and delivery of relevant technical knowledge, presentations, and discussions at all client levels and customer-related events.

• Actively engage in technical champion programs and communities.

• Obtain certifications as appropriate.

• Learn, discuss, and present new and emerging technical and IT-related topics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or military background.

• 7+ years of experience in systems engineering or solution architecture.

• Background in a consulting role.

• Knowledge and understanding of DevOps, Intelligent Ops, Automation, AIOps, and Observability frameworks and strategies.

• Previous hands-on experience in building DevOps platforms, Infrastructure as Code, and Agentic solutions for infrastructure and DevOps management.

• Familiarity with DevOps and Agentic Ops adoption models and methodologies.

• Expert-level knowledge and experience in the design, implementation, and support of one or more of the following: DevOps, Cloud Native, and Third Party Implementing Agentic Ops strategies and governance.

• Experience with Observability strategies and tools such as Datadog, Big Panda, Dynatrace, etc.

• Proficient in container platforms: Kubernetes, OpenShift, Rancher, VKS.

• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code Tools: Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager.

• Proven comfort in leading presentations, solution demonstrations, and whiteboard sessions.
