Senior Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.

📋 Description

• Address Complex Escalations: Serve as the ultimate authority on issues that surpass GOC scope, employing code-level debugging and architectural analysis.

• Engage Directly with Customers: Collaborate with customer technical leads to identify production issues, ensuring transparency and swift resolution through active teamwork.

• Problem Solving through Iteration: Create diagnostic scripts and temporary solutions to sustain customer operations while long-term fixes are being developed.

• Conduct Root Cause Analysis: Take ownership of end-to-end P1 resolution, working alongside TAMs to provide clear and actionable post-incident insights.

• Liaison to Engineering: Transform recurring customer challenges into evidence-based feature requests, shaping the product roadmap to address systemic issues.

• Cultivate Scalable Knowledge: Document non-obvious platform behaviors and enhance GOC runbooks, ensuring that institutional knowledge expands with each incident.


⛳️ Requirements

• 5–9 years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Platform Engineering, or SRE, with a particular emphasis on high-performance computing or large-scale AI infrastructures. A demonstrated history of managing complex production environments where system reliability is critical.

• Kubernetes Authority: Extensive experience in cluster management and scheduler internals; comfortable reading and modifying controller code.

• AI/GPU Infrastructure Expert: Skilled in orchestrating GPU workloads and troubleshooting training job failures using ROCm or CUDA.

• Network Specialist: Proficient with RDMA/RoCEv2, SRIOV, and BGP; able to analyze switch telemetry to detect silent packet drops.

• Advanced Linux User: Expertise in kernel networking, hugepages, and cgroups; capable of debugging at the OS level when applications are unresponsive.

• Builder Mindset: Proficient in Python and Ansible; able to develop custom diagnostic tools for automation of remediation processes.

• Executive Communicator: Exhibits strong technical rigor when presenting findings to VPs of Engineering, maintaining trust while conveying challenging updates.

• Previous experience in a customer-facing engineering position (e.g., Solutions Engineering, Technical Support Engineering).

• Experience in high-availability environments where 24/7/365 uptime is essential.
