Senior Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Become an early member of a rapidly expanding team dedicated to effectively addressing technical and customer challenges.

• Collaborate with our Sales team to convey the comprehensive Grafana value proposition, vision, and strategy to clients.

• Take charge of the technical engagement with clients and assist in closing quick-paced opportunities through in-depth competitive insight, technical expertise, and credibility.

• Present product and technical information to both potential and existing clients.

• Maintain proactive communication with clients and internal teams to establish a feedback loop regarding our products and the competitive landscape.

• Lead product discussions based on needs and issues identified during customer interactions.

• Collaborate with the team to improve documentation, create blog posts, record videos, contribute to knowledge base articles, and produce other internal and public enablement content.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ideally located in the Greater NYC or Boston area.

• 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, preferably with Open Source technologies or in the Metrics/Monitoring domain. While we plan to onboard more junior team members later, we currently require individuals who can immediately contribute.

• Being a startup, your responsibilities will be diverse and complex, necessitating strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership skills.

• As a remote-first company, you'll need to adapt to working and collaborating with an international team.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential for collaborating with our remote-first internal teams and global customers. You should be able to effectively communicate our value proposition and the technical benefits of our products.

• A passion for solving technical challenges and a knack for providing innovative solutions to our clients is a must.

• A technical mindset and a keen interest in technical growth are crucial. Ideal candidates may be recent graduates from coding bootcamps or have prior experience in post-sales or engineering roles; we look forward to seeing the unique experiences and skill sets you bring!
