This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead technical discovery sessions with potential clients to gain insights into their current delivery frameworks, carrier partnerships, OMS/WMS/TMS integrations, and operational challenges.
• Create and present customized demonstrations of Pulse AI and the comprehensive API — tailored to fit each prospect’s industry (restaurant, grocery, retail, pharmacy, parcel, and more).
• Define and execute proof-of-concept integrations, assisting prospects’ engineering teams in navigating Burq’s API from webhook configuration to live order processing.
• Remain actively involved during the initial implementation for key accounts — facilitating the first production orders prior to a seamless transition to post-sales and the forward-deployed team.
• Design comprehensive delivery solutions for enterprise transactions involving multiple stakeholders, encompassing a customer’s engineering, operations, and procurement departments.
• Address RFPs, security questionnaires, and technical due diligence requests with precision and promptness.
• Generate clear, detailed integration specifications and handover documentation for post-sales and engineering teams.
• Elevate prospect feedback and recurring objections to the product and engineering teams to influence the development roadmap — acting as a key advocate for the customer during the pre-sales process.
• 3–6 years of experience in a technical, client-facing role — such as Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Implementation Engineer, or Developer Relations.
• Proven background in logistics, supply chain, transportation, delivery, or a related industry. This role requires existing knowledge of delivery and fulfillment processes.
• Proficient in reading and writing code — capable of guiding a prospect’s engineering team through a REST API integration in a hands-on manner. Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, or similar languages is essential.
• Knowledge of TMS, OMS, and WMS platforms and their interconnections within an enterprise technology ecosystem.
• Strong commercial acumen — able to qualify deals, navigate complex buying processes with multiple stakeholders, and discern when to expedite or decelerate efforts.
• Exceptional at converting technical capabilities into business advantages. Fluent in both API discussions and financial implications.
• Experience in parcel, last-mile, or multi-carrier environments is highly advantageous.
• Self-motivated and thrive in a dynamic startup atmosphere where you will play a key role in shaping operational functions.
• Nice to Have
• Background in marketplace, on-demand, or gig-economy platforms.
• Familiarity with delivery management systems, route optimization technologies, or carrier aggregators.
• Understanding of EDI, carrier APIs, label generation, or tracking event streams.
