This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.
• Actively engage in the sales process while collaborating closely with both direct and channel sales teams.
• Identify and comprehend customer needs, aligning SailPoint solutions to these requirements through workshops and maturity assessments.
• Present the SailPoint solution, highlighting its business value and competitive advantages.
• Deliver product demonstrations to potential customers.
• Assist in crafting responses for RFI/RFP requests.
• Lead evaluation workshops and conduct Proof of Concept initiatives.
• Offer feedback to Product Management regarding product enhancements.
• Mentor and guide new sales and presales team members on SailPoint solutions.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the sales cycle, ensuring alignment of technical activities with the sales process.
• Engage with senior executives, effectively articulating the business value of identity security.
• Contribute to empowering local partners in Japan.
• Participate in IT events in Japan, providing support for speaking engagements, demo booths, and more.
• Contribute to customer success stories, white papers, blogs, and social media posts that demonstrate our expertise in the Identity Security Market.
• Actively participate in internal meetings, knowledge sharing sessions, and enablement activities.
• Over 5 years of professional experience as a pre-sales technical resource in an enterprise software setting.
• More than 3 years of experience as a customer-facing Sales Engineer (account SE) in an enterprise software company.
• At least 3 years of experience working with Identity, Governance, and Access Management solutions is preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• A solid understanding of technical infrastructure, including application servers, databases, virtualization, and directories is essential.
• Familiarity with Java, XML, LDAP, and SQL is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Cloud platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud, and AWS is desirable.
• Ensure that proposed deals encompass technical solutions that meet customer needs and are backed by key customer technical decision-makers.
• Lead and engage in technical discussions with customers.
• Collaborate with the Product team to refine the roadmap based on technical insights from customer interactions.
• A thorough understanding of Identity Security processes, deployment models, and best practices is required.
