• Collaborate with enterprise GTM sales teams as a strategic advisor to define deal strategies, align solutions with client business objectives, and drive opportunities to successful closure.
• Directly engage with Sales leaders and C-level executives to influence decision-making, articulate business value, and present solutions that align with screening priorities.
• Facilitate complex discovery sessions to identify business objectives, challenges, and success criteria among enterprise clients.
• Create comprehensive workflows that align products, services, and integrations to meet client specifications across real-world user experiences (e.g., requester and candidate).
• Provide customized, impactful demonstrations tailored to client-specific needs and personas (requester, candidate), effectively showcasing real-world experiences, technical viability, and business value.
• Actively participate in developing win strategies by identifying risks, gaps, and competitive positioning while recommending actions to advance deals or suggested options.
• Collaborate with Sales and Account Management to support both new business and growth opportunities, ensuring solutions achieve intended outcomes.
• Act as a subject matter expert on background screening products, services, platforms, and integrations.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams to convert client requirements into scalable solutions and contribute to product and process enhancements.
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation and onboarding teams.
• Promote continuous improvement of sales engineering best practices in discovery, solution design, and demonstration methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Over 6 years of experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, consulting, or similar roles, with a strong focus on strategic partnerships and deal shaping.
• Proven track record of working directly with and influencing C-level stakeholders to facilitate decision-making and close intricate deals.
• Demonstrated capability to go beyond demo execution to actively shape successful sales strategies in collaboration with Sales and Account Management teams.
• Strong understanding of pre-employment background screening products and services (e.g., criminal screening, drug testing, occupational health, DOT/random screening).
• Familiarity with I-9/E-Verify and integrations with applicant tracking systems (e.g., Workday, iCIMS, Oracle Recruiting).
• Solid grasp of regulatory requirements across sectors such as healthcare, transportation, and financial services.
• Proven success in designing and delivering complex, enterprise-level business process solutions.
• Experience in documenting requirements (e.g., scoping documents, solution designs, Statements of Work).
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and solution design capabilities.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical solutions into executive-level business value.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to link solutions to measurable outcomes such as revenue growth, efficiency, and risk mitigation.
