Senior Solutions Architect – West, Professional Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the technical implementation and promote the adoption of Chainguard images, assisting customers in securely utilizing open source software throughout their organization.

• Collaborate with the account team (AEs, SEs, CSMs, and Support) to grasp customer vision, pain points, and proposed solutions to inform account-level strategies, enhance value realization, and drive retention and growth.

• Act as “customer zero” to ensure Chainguard Images are of the highest quality by testing, documenting, and facilitating a seamless onboarding experience for customers.

• Work alongside Product and Engineering teams to relay customer requirements and establish prioritization for image development.

• Maintain suitable account-level architecture and disseminate best practices and lessons learned throughout the organization.

• Collaborate, mentor, and learn from the Chainguard team.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4+ years of experience in a post-sales role providing support to clients.

• Over 8 years of experience in developing high-performance multi-tier applications.

• Strong expertise in Kubernetes and container technologies.

• Proficient in conveying technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, ranging from engineers to executives.

• A continuous learner with a robust intellectual drive for excellence and a passion for devising solutions to complex challenges.

• At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.

• Significant experience with software development processes, practices, and software engineering design principles.

• Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and business partners.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.

• Residing in the Pacific Time Zone.
