This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Lead technical discovery sessions with clients to identify business objectives, challenges, and motivations.
• Convert requirements into customized, outcome-driven cloud and infrastructure solutions.
• Facilitate workshops, whiteboarding sessions, and interviews with stakeholders.
• Design hybrid and multi-cloud environments that meet performance, availability, security, and compliance standards.
• Work together to create multi-cloud and hybrid cloud solutions that span both hosted and public cloud services.
• Serve as the technical lead throughout the sales process, from discovery to transition.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and specialized teams to ensure solutions align with account strategies.
• Develop security architectures that include MDR, SOCaaS, IAM, SIEM/SOAR, and vulnerability management.
• Design secure, high-performance networks incorporating SD-WAN, VPN, DNS, TCP/IP, and firewalls across both on-premises and cloud environments.
• BA/BS Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, or MS Degree with 4+ years of experience, or Ph.D. with one year of experience, or 10 years of overall experience without a degree.
• Professional Level Public Cloud Certification (AWS, Azure, Google).
• Proven experience working within a sales team context.
• Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong ability to communicate and present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences clearly.
• In-depth knowledge of private cloud and data center architectures (VMware, Citrix, storage, networking).
• Comprehensive understanding of AWS/Azure/GCP and their distinctions from traditional IT methods.
• Experience with managed security services and the design of secure, compliant architectures.
• Strong grasp of hybrid connectivity, SD-WAN, VPN, DNS, and firewalls.
• Design expertise in SAN and NAS, backup and data protection strategies, and technologies for replication and disaster recovery.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and current deployment practices is an advantage.
