Senior Solutions Architect – Oil, Gas, and Energy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Define and steer the technical strategy for key Oil, Gas, and Energy accounts in collaboration with the Enterprise Account Executive.

• Assist enterprise clients in assessing and integrating Databricks into their operational strategy.

• Guide customers through transformative data and AI initiatives.

• Execute the technical strategy for assigned accounts.

• Cultivate technical advocates within client organizations.

• Synchronize technical strategies with Databricks solutions.

• Act as the primary technical representative for various clients.

• Offer structured mentorship to fellow team members.

• Work alongside hands-on resources to create proofs of concept and showcase Databricks products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven pre-sales expert with a strong history of assisting large enterprises in becoming more data-centric.

• Experience managing extensive (> $1m ARR), global accounts.

• Technical proficiency in big data, data science, and cloud technologies.

• Expertise in driving data-driven business transformations and implementing change through data.

• Production programming skills in Python, R, Scala, or Java.

• Capability to establish virtual teams and lead them to achieve success within the account.

• Proficient at building relationships with executives and key influencers.

• Skillful in presenting a persuasive perspective to significant decision-makers.

• Databricks Certification is a plus.
