This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Offer guidance during technical discovery phases with prospects and clients to evaluate existing investments in the Microsoft ecosystem, development workflows, security requirements, and platform needs.
• Create solutions that demonstrate how GitLab facilitates secure and scalable software delivery throughout the software lifecycle, encompassing planning, code management, deployment, and monitoring.
• Conduct customized demonstrations and technical presentations that align customer requirements with GitLab's platform functionalities, including AI-driven DevSecOps use cases.
• Lead end-to-end proofs of concept and proofs of value, assisting stakeholders in navigating evaluation strategies, technical validation, and solutions alignment.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Solutions Architecture teams to enhance strategic customer interactions and provide specialized knowledge across the broader go-to-market strategy.
• Work alongside Product Marketing and Field Enablement to strengthen GitLab's market position against GitHub with clear, evidence-based comparisons while also exploring how GitLab can integrate with existing Microsoft products in customer settings.
• Develop reusable resources, technical frameworks, and field guidance that enable teams to consistently utilize Microsoft-related expertise across various opportunities.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to communicate customer feedback, field observations, and technical trends that could shape future product development and enablement.
• Proven experience in customer-facing technical positions that involve architectural guidance, solution validation, and strategic customer engagement.
• Understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem, particularly how customers implement Microsoft and GitHub products within software delivery frameworks.
• Solid background in contemporary software development or operations, including continuous integration and continuous delivery, DevSecOps practices, and associated tools.
• Familiarity with cloud computing principles and architectures, especially regarding how cloud services facilitate secure and scalable application delivery.
• Capability to design and articulate architectures that integrate multiple teams and phases of the software lifecycle.
• Proficient in leading workshops, technical discovery sessions, and evaluation initiatives for audiences ranging from practitioners to executive stakeholders.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills across Sales, Product, Engineering, and customer teams.
