Senior Solutions Architect, Growth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Montana.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with potential clients to assess the suitability of their applications for Temporal’s platform.

• Inform customers and prospects about the technical advantages and constraints of Temporal’s platform and cloud services.

• Establish Temporal as a premier solution in comparison to competing technologies and architectural frameworks.

• Cultivate an environment within customer engineering teams to enhance the adoption and growth of Temporal in production settings.

• Work closely with Account Executives to create and implement detailed account strategies.

• Build and maintain relationships with technical decision-makers in customer organizations to ensure they maximize the use of Temporal’s features.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in the Mountain or West time zones.

• Outstanding technical communication skills, including the ability to present, whiteboard, and write effectively.

• Strong understanding of distributed system technologies, design principles, and best practices.

• Experience in building application prototypes and offering design, development, build, and deployment guidance using one or more of Temporal’s supported programming languages: Java, Golang, TypeScript, Python, C#, or PHP.

• Solid understanding of operational considerations in production environments, including security, reliability, performance, cost management, and operations.

• Capability to provide valuable insights on architectural matters, including application patterns and platform architectures.

• Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider and knowledge of commonly utilized application development and production services.

• Act as a strategic technical advisor to Sales Account Executives, helping with scoping and sizing opportunities and providing guidance on technical compatibility and challenges.
