Senior Solutions Architect – Finops, Cloud Optimization

📋 Description

• Lead initiatives for optimizing cloud costs across extensive enterprise environments

• Identify areas of waste, inefficiencies, and potential architectural improvements

• Create governance frameworks that maintain long-term efficiency in cloud usage

• Analyze patterns in cloud usage and spending trends

• Collaborate with engineering teams to apply optimization strategies

• Manage cloud cost and usage data on a large scale

• Develop and enhance reporting, analytics, and decision-support systems

• Generate insights that influence cost optimization choices

• Work alongside customers on initiatives for financial visibility in the cloud

• Facilitate discovery sessions and reviews for optimization

• Present findings and recommendations to both technical and business stakeholders

• Cultivate trusted advisor relationships with customers

• Provide guidance to engineering and data teams

• Establish best practices to enhance cloud efficiency

• Mentor team members

• Drive architectural decisions that positively impact both technical performance and financial outcomes

• Proven experience in FinOps

• Demonstrated expertise in cloud cost optimization

• Strong experience with AWS

• Proficient in SQL

• Skilled in Python

• Experience in customer-facing consulting roles

• Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly

• Background in implementing measurable cost reduction strategies
