Senior Solutions Architect, Enterprise Networking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design and implement advanced technical solutions to present to clients (Hardware, Software, Licensing, Professional Services)

• Gather and analyze business and technical requirements

• Execute comprehensive, end-to-end network design projects

• Facilitate discussions on a whiteboard to drive ideas

• Create presentations tailored for customer engagement

• Provide technical presentations and product demonstrations

• Produce hardware configurations (Bill of Materials)

• Draft statements of work (SoW) and establish pricing for Professional Services

• Collaborate with Account Executives and Extended Sales Teams to enhance customer relationships and solutions

• Serve as the client's ‘trusted advisor’ to influence their long-term technology strategy

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, including military experience

• Over 7 years of experience in enterprise-level network and security solutions

• Background as a Pre-Sales Engineer

• In-depth knowledge and expertise in the design, implementation, and support of complex routing and switching solutions (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba)

• Experience with next-generation firewalls and VPNs (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.)

• Familiarity with SSE and SASE technologies

• Knowledge of automation tools (Catalyst Center, Apstra)

• Experience with observability and monitoring tools (ThousandEyes, Splunk, Datadog)

• Proficiency in Data Center switching and segmentation solutions (Cisco ACI and VMware NSX)

• Expertise in SD-WAN solutions (Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto, Fortinet)
