Senior Solutions Architect, Enterprise Networking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design high-level technical solutions and present them to clients.

• Gather business and technical requirements.

• Execute comprehensive end-to-end network designs throughout the entire lifecycle.

• Facilitate discussions using whiteboarding techniques.

• Create presentations for customers.

• Provide technical presentations and product demonstrations.

• Generate hardware configurations (Bill of Materials).

• Draft statements of work (SoW) and establish Professional Service pricing using Presidio tools.

• Collaborate with Account Executives and Extended Sales Teams to cultivate customer relationships and solutions.

• Continuously enhance technical and technology-specific skills and certifications.

• Act as the client’s 'trusted advisor' to influence their long-term technology strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, including military experience.

• Over 7 years of experience in enterprise-level network and security solutions.

• Background as a Pre-Sales Engineer.

• Expert knowledge and experience in designing, implementing, and supporting complex routing and switching solutions (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba).

• Familiarity with next-generation firewalls and VPNs (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet).

• Experience with SSE and SASE technologies.

• Proficiency in automation tools (Catalyst Center, Apstra).

• Skills in observability and monitoring (ThousandEyes, Splunk, Datadog).

• Expertise in Data Center switching and segmentation (Cisco ACI, VMware NSX).

• Knowledge of SDWAN solutions (Cisco Viptela, Aruba Silverpeak, Palo Alto Prisma, Fortinet).

• One or more of the following certifications: CCDP, CCNP, CCIE, or other non-Cisco certifications.
