Senior Solutions Architect, Enterprise

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Create enterprise-level data pipelines utilizing dbt Cloud.

• Collaborate with sales teams to convey the technical advantages of the dbt Labs product suite.

• Assist customers in navigating proof-of-concept implementations and oversee dbt Cloud trials.

• Partner with engineering to implement dbt Cloud in private cloud environments for enterprise clients.

• Manage the customer journey from pre-sale assessments to product adoption and growth.

• Collaborate with product teams to develop and update the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmap.

• Establish connections with partners such as Snowflake, AWS, and Databricks, facilitating their adoption and implementation of dbt.

• Engage actively within the dbt community.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales engineering, solutions architecture, or consulting within data operations, analytics, or BI.

• Strong technical foundation with proficiency in SQL, ETL processes, and data modeling.

• Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary data warehousing architectures.

• Ability to convert technical and business needs into actionable solutions.

• Exceptional verbal, written, and in-person communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Capacity to thrive in a dynamic and ambiguous work environment.

• Previous experience in analytics, ETL, BI, or open-source software is preferred.

• Familiarity with or experience in dbt is a plus.

• Background in dimensional, data vault, Kimball, or 3NF data modeling techniques is advantageous.

• Experience with Informatica, Boomi, or Talend is considered a plus.
