This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the technical implementation and promote the adoption of Chainguard Images, assisting customers in securely building with open source software throughout their organizations.
• Collaborate with account teams, including Account Executives, Solutions Engineers, Customer Success Managers, and Support, to comprehend customer visions, challenges, and proposed solutions.
• Strategize at the account level to ensure value realization, retention, and growth.
• Test, document, and verify that Chainguard Images are of high quality, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for customers.
• Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to communicate customer requirements and prioritize image builds.
• Maintain the architecture at the account level.
• Share best practices and insights learned across the organization.
• Collaborate, teach, and learn alongside the Chainguard team.
• At least 4+ years of experience in a post-sales role supporting clients.
• 8+ years of experience in developing high-performance multi-tier applications.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes and container technologies.
• Ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences, ranging from engineers to executives.
• A continuous learner with a strong drive for excellence and a desire to devise solutions for complex problems.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
• Significant experience with software development processes and practices.
• Understanding of software engineering design principles.
• Capability to work collaboratively with cross-functional engineering teams and business partners.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
• Must be located in the Eastern Time Zone.
