📋 Description

• Lead comprehensive Atlassian Cloud migration and consolidation initiatives, encompassing assessment, planning, execution, and post-migration optimization.

• Evaluate current Data Center/Cloud environments to identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for enhancement.

• Design and implement scalable architectures that adhere to best practices, governance standards, and organizational objectives.

• Define the target-state architecture for multi-instance consolidations and hybrid deployments.

• Create detailed technical designs, migration strategies, and rollback plans.

• Optimize configurations, automation, and integrations to enhance performance, scalability, and maintainability.

• Supervise data migration tasks, including projects, issues, workflows, and permissions.

• Utilize automation tools, scripts, and APIs to streamline operations and minimize downtime.

• Ensure thorough testing, validation, and user acceptance processes to ensure successful transitions.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business aims and change management requirements.

• Provide expert advice on licensing frameworks, platform consolidation strategies, and governance post-migration.

• Act as the senior technical contact, supporting both client teams and internal project resources.

• Stay informed about Atlassian Cloud updates, architectural advancements, and migration tool enhancements.

• Contribute to the creation of internal migration playbooks, templates, and best practice guidelines.

• Maintain a knowledge base regarding migration processes associated with marketplace vendor applications.

• Mentor team members and promote knowledge sharing throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience with Atlassian products (Jira Software, Confluence, Jira Service Management, etc.).

• More than 3 years of experience leading Cloud migration and consolidation projects in enterprise-scale environments.

• In-depth knowledge of Atlassian Cloud and Data Center architectures, including identity management, performance optimization, and security models.

• Proficient with migration tools such as JCMA, CCMA, Configuration Manager for Jira, or Project Configurator.

• Practical experience with automation and scripting (e.g., REST APIs, ScriptRunner, PowerShell, or Python).

• Exceptional communication and documentation skills, with the capability to explain complex technical subjects to non-technical stakeholders.

• Preferred: Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP) or Atlassian Cloud certification.

• Experience managing hybrid Cloud/Data Center coexistence or multi-tenant consolidation.

• Familiarity with enterprise-scale ITSM and Agile delivery methodologies.

• Consulting experience in technology, systems integration, or digital transformation practices.
