This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee intricate Professional Services projects centered on AI-driven and traditional software delivery, ensuring alignment between customer objectives and LaunchDarkly best practices.
• Collaborate with clients to design and integrate feature management into their LLM-enhanced applications, autonomous workflows, and internal AI systems.
• Devise and assist in the implementation of secure rollout strategies for AI — including progressive exposure, guardrails, kill switches, and prompt/model experimentation — directly within the customer's codebase.
• Create reference implementations, integrations, and prototypes in partnership with customer engineers, producing production-quality code that illustrates the pattern rather than just describing it in slides.
• Engage directly in customer environments to integrate AI systems with LaunchDarkly at inference-time and workflow-level decision points.
• Assist clients in developing and managing chatbots, copilots, and agent-based systems, guiding them in incorporating LaunchDarkly into inference-time and workflow-level decisions.
• Utilize a consultative approach to comprehend customer architectures, gather comprehensive requirements, and influence critical technical and organizational decisions.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to engineering, platform, DevOps, and AI leaders.
• Recognize and address technical challenges that impede value realization, especially in complex, distributed, or AI-driven systems.
• Position yourself as a subject matter expert on LaunchDarkly and emerging AI delivery methodologies, continuously enhancing your expertise as the industry evolves.
• Champion customer interests by consolidating feedback and collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to shape future AI-related functionalities.
• A minimum of 4 years in enterprise software, platform engineering, or solutions architecture, employing a hands-on, consultative approach.
• Proficient in writing production-quality code in one or more modern programming languages (Python, Java, JavaScript/Node.js, Go, or similar) and capable of independently developing and delivering functional integrations and prototypes within a customer's repository — not just architecting them.
• Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar).
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar tool-augmented/agent-based methodologies, or a strong eagerness to learn.
• Ability to guide clients in DevOps, CI/CD, and contemporary release practices, including experimentation and progressive delivery.
• Experience in delivering across the entire SDLC in enterprise settings and leading teams through development or platform transformations.
• Solid understanding of how feature management and experimentation platforms enhance and mitigate risks in software delivery.
• Hands-on experience with a major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Linux, and containerization.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
• Restricted Stock Units (RSUs)
• Health, vision, and dental insurance
• Mental health benefits
