Senior Solutions and Technology Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze and assess emerging technology trends within the material handling sector.

• Investigate advancements in the industry, including equipment and methodologies, through various publications, trade shows, and independent research.

• Lead or engage in the assessment of new potential technology partners.

• Educate the internal team on the latest technologies.

• Assist the sales team during collaborative calls and conduct independent calls to assess customer requirements.

• Evaluate customer workflows, material movement, and equipment usage.

• Perform field surveys, which involve time studies, physical space measurements, and documentation of equipment.

• Design material handling systems, specify necessary equipment, and create space design layouts utilizing CAD software.

• Conceptualize, assess, and design automated solutions in collaboration with automation vendors.

• Produce and assist in the presentation of technical system proposals.

• Offer facility layout consulting services that integrate automation solutions.

• Strategically guide Sales Leads or clients in developing solutions.

• Cultivate client relationships in the absence of a Sales Lead.

• Ensure that solutions are adequately prepared for successful execution and final installation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.

• Over 10 years of experience in Material Handling and/or Process Engineering.

• Proficient in AutoCAD.

• Skilled in Microsoft Applications.

• Preferred: capabilities in data analysis.

• Preferred: expertise in 3D modeling.
