This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team and channel partners to identify customer requirements.
• Develop strategies for successfully navigating sales cycles and securing significant deals.
• Showcase Snowflake technology and its vision to both executives and technical team members.
• Illustrate and convey the value of Snowflake throughout the entire sales process, from demonstrations to proofs of concept, design, and implementation.
• Assist in enterprise Proofs of Concept.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors.
• Work together with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to enhance Snowflake products and marketing efforts.
• Conduct thorough investigations of customer architecture frameworks and align them with Snowflake Data Architecture.
• Serve as a technical thought partner for customers exploring the AI landscape.
• 7–8 years of industry experience, including at least 5 years in a pre-sales role.
• Exceptional presentation skills suitable for both technical and executive audiences.
• Over 5 years of experience in building and deploying machine learning and generative AI solutions in cloud environments.
• Extensive experience with large-scale database and/or data warehouse technologies, ETL processes, analytics, and cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with Data Lake, Data Mesh, and Data Fabric concepts.
• Proficient in SQL, SQL analytics, and Python.
• Ability to relate customer business challenges to Snowflake solutions.
• Competence in performing comprehensive discovery of customer architecture frameworks and aligning them with Snowflake Data Architecture.
• An inquisitive approach to the AI landscape.
• Demonstrated capability to utilize AI code-generation tools.
• A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
• Experience with Global System Integrators (GSIs) such as EY, Deloitte, or Accenture is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.
