Senior Solution Engineer, Telecommunications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Articulate the Snowflake technology and its vision to both executives and technical professionals at prospective and current clients.

• Engage directly with prospects and customers to showcase and communicate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales process.

• Assist in demonstrations, enterprise Proofs of Concept, design, and implementation efforts.

• Collaborate with the sales team and channel partners to grasp customer requirements and devise effective sales strategies.

• Maintain extensive knowledge of competitive and complementary technologies and their vendors.

• Position Snowflake in relation to competing and complementary technologies.

• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing teams to enhance products and marketing efforts.

• Conduct thorough discovery of customer architecture frameworks and align them with Snowflake Data Architecture.

• Act as a technical thought partner for clients exploring AI solutions.

• Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7–8 years of experience in the industry.

• At least 5 years of experience in a pre-sales environment.

• Over 5 years of experience in constructing and deploying machine learning and generative AI solutions in the cloud.

• Extensive experience with large-scale database and/or data warehouse technologies, ETL, analytics, and cloud solutions.

• Familiarity with Data Lake, Data Mesh, or Data Fabric technologies.

• Proficient in SQL, SQL analytics, and Python.

• Exceptional presentation skills suited for both technical and executive audiences.

• Capability to connect customer business challenges with Snowflake solutions.

• Ability to conduct comprehensive discovery of customer architecture frameworks and align them with Snowflake Data Architecture.

• A proactive interest in the AI landscape.

• Proficiency in utilizing AI code generation tools.

• A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent experience is preferred.

• Experience with Global System Integrators (GSIs) such as EY, Deloitte, or Accenture is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Openness to travel approximately 30% of the time.

• Must adhere to Snowflake's confidentiality and security standards.
