Senior Solution Engineer, Retail & Consumer Goods

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver presentations on Snowflake technology and its vision to both executives and technical teams at potential and existing clients.

• Engage directly with prospects and customers to showcase and articulate the benefits of Snowflake technology throughout the sales process, from demonstrations to proofs of concept, design, and implementation.

• Stay deeply immersed in the rapidly changing industry, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors, while effectively positioning Snowflake against them.

• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing teams to enhance Snowflake’s products and marketing strategies continuously.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of relevant industry experience, including at least 5 years in a pre-sales role.

• Exceptional presentation skills tailored to both technical and executive audiences, whether spontaneously on a whiteboard or through structured presentations and demos.

• More than 5 years of experience in developing and implementing machine learning and generative AI solutions in cloud environments.

• Extensive knowledge of large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse technologies, ETL processes, analytics, and cloud solutions.

• Proficient in SQL, SQL analytics, and Python programming.

• Capable of aligning a customer’s unique business challenges with Snowflake’s solutions.

• Skilled in conducting in-depth analysis of customer architecture frameworks and linking them with Snowflake Data Architecture.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent experience is preferred. A Master's degree in Data Science or Business Administration is an advantage.

• Experience with Global System Integrators (GSIs) such as EY, Deloitte, Accenture, etc., is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.
