Senior Solution Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee technical discovery, solution design, and proof-of-value initiatives with enterprise clients across various industries.

• Convert intricate business requirements into architectures that utilize the Snowflake Data Cloud, including data engineering, data science/AI/ML, data sharing, applications, and security/governance.

• Provide engaging technical presentations, demonstrations, and workshops to audiences from individual contributors to C-suite executives.

• Collaborate with Account Executives to enhance pipeline, expedite deals, and finalize business transactions.

• Act as the representative voice of the customer to the Product and Engineering teams.

• Create and sustain reusable assets: demo environments, reference architectures, and solution accelerators.

• Remain up-to-date on competitive dynamics, industry trends, and new capabilities within the data & AI ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience across various disciplines: data engineering, analytics, AI/ML, software development, cloud architecture, or technical consulting.

• Proven ability to design comprehensive data platforms encompassing ingestion, transformation, orchestration, serving, and governance.

• Proficient in SQL and at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, or Scala.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data stack tools (dbt, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Terraform, or equivalent).

• A solid history of delivering technical solutions in a customer-facing, pre-sales, or consulting role.

• Outstanding communication skills — capable of conveying deeply technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders while maintaining credibility with engineering teams.

• Experience interacting with executive leadership (CTO, CDO, CIO, CFO) regarding business strategy and technology roadmaps.
