Senior Solution Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Articulate the vision and technology of Snowflake to both executives and technical stakeholders at potential and existing clients.

• Engage directly with prospects and customers to showcase and convey the benefits of Snowflake technology throughout the sales process, from demonstrations to proof of concept, design, and implementation.

• Deeply immerse yourself in the dynamic industry landscape, keeping a thorough understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors, and effectively positioning Snowflake in relation to them.

• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing teams to continually enhance Snowflake’s products and marketing strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7-8 years of relevant industry experience, with at least 5 years in a pre-sales capacity.

• Exceptional presentation skills suitable for both technical and executive audiences.

• Extensive experience with large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse technologies, ETL processes, analytics, and cloud solutions.

• Practical knowledge of SQL, SQL analytics, and Python.

• Capability to align a customer's unique business challenges with Snowflake’s solutions.

• Proficiency in conducting in-depth evaluations of customer architecture frameworks and linking those with Snowflake Data Architecture.

• An inquisitive mindset towards the AI landscape.

• Demonstrated ability to utilize AI code generation tools to boost productivity and efficiency.

• A degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with Global System Integrators (GSIs) such as EY, Deloitte, Accenture, etc., is advantageous but not mandatory.
