This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Configure and implement the Kinaxis Maestro solution in accordance with customer business needs.
• Ensure that solution configurations are of high quality, align with user stories, and are delivered on schedule.
• Convert business requirements into specifications for the Kinaxis Maestro product.
• Transform complex supply chain challenges into analytical and mathematical models, incorporating optimization, heuristics, and constraint-based logic.
• Integrate analytical models into Maestro solutions.
• Collaborate in small POD teams alongside domain experts and stakeholders to comprehend issues and deliver effective solutions.
• Develop and improve inventory management modules that balance service levels, working capital, and system efficiency.
• Create Production Planning workflows that balance capacity, lead times, and demand variability.
• Design and implement algorithmic logic for allocation, prioritization, and capacity balancing utilizing Maestro scripting and embedded algorithms.
• Assist in quality control and quality assurance validation and testing.
• Offer suggestions for enhancing future workflows and implementations.
• Work closely with Product Managers and internal stakeholders to ensure solutions are aligned with system capabilities.
• Identify objective functions, constraints, and trade-offs, translating them into system logic.
• Convert business requirements into system configurations, dashboards, and workflows.
• Guide and train end-users during early innovator initiatives.
• Provide ongoing customer support throughout early innovator programs.
• Conduct data-driven analyses to pinpoint improvements and present recommendations to the project team.
• Recognize opportunities to standardize and enhance Maestro resources by utilizing reusable Operations Research-based solution patterns.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• A strong background in Operations Research / optimization techniques (Linear Programming, heuristics, constraint-based modeling) is highly desirable.
• Capability to translate mathematical and analytical outputs into actionable business insights for stakeholders.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills suitable for customer-facing roles.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies for system implementation.
• Aptitude for interpreting business requirements and converting them into entity relationship diagram logic.
• Understanding of the software deployment lifecycle, encompassing business requirements definition, functional specifications, test plans, testing, user training, and deployment.
• A self-starter with initiative who thrives in a fast-paced work environment.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to synthesize complex information and determine the most effective course of action.
• Effective collaboration in a team environment with individuals across all organizational levels.
• Proficient in communicating complex ideas effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Significant working experience with Supply Chain Management platforms.
• Knowledge of Production Planning and inventory management concepts, preferably in a technology-driven or software environment.
• Experience in SaaS Supply Chain platform projects.
• Familiarity with software extensions and embedded algorithms is advantageous.
• Kinaxis Solution Consultant Level certification is a plus.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Python and SQL.
• Experience in optimization models, analytical problem-solving, or algorithm development within a supply chain context is a strong asset.
• Exposure to simulation, scenario analysis, or decision-support modeling frameworks is preferred.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguous environments.
• Solution Consultant Level certifications from Kinaxis are an advantage.
