This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Assess customer fuel delivery needs and inventory levels to ensure prompt fulfillment.
• Develop and oversee daily dispatch schedules to enhance delivery efficiency.
• Collaborate with drivers, carriers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to coordinate transportation activities.
• Allocate loads to third-party carriers, ensuring timely acceptance and execution.
• Work closely with Supply teams to determine optimal sourcing and lift-point strategies.
• Drive recovery efforts for complex transportation and service-related issues.
• Act as the primary contact for inquiries and escalations related to transportation.
• Maintain proactive communication with customers and resolve issues effectively.
• Coordinate with drivers and carriers to guarantee safe and timely deliveries.
• Anticipate service disruptions and implement recovery measures.
• Balance customer expectations with operational efficiency and service obligations.
• Monitor transportation performance and seek opportunities for improvement.
• Contribute to initiatives that enhance service, efficiency, profitability, and customer experience.
• Assist in operational reporting and transportation analytics.
• Ensure adherence to DOT regulations, hazardous materials requirements, and company policies.
• Document and report accidents, spills, and safety-related incidents.
• Serve as a resource and escalation point for less experienced team members.
• Support onboarding, training, and coaching efforts.
• Share best practices to promote operational consistency.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in dispatching, transportation, logistics, supply chain, fleet operations, carrier operations, fuel transportation, or a related field.
• Proven experience in coordinating transportation activities in a dynamic environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the capability to manage multiple priorities at once.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and transportation operations.
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking capabilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet competing deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer-oriented mindset with a dedication to service excellence.

• Experience in petroleum, fuel transportation, dispatching, logistics, or supply chain operations is preferred.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Experience in monitoring operational performance metrics and KPIs is preferred.
• Experience in training, mentoring, or supporting other team members is preferred.
• Flexibility to work a schedule based on business needs, including weekends and holidays.
