This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, manage, and continually enhance a top-tier, end-to-end product value chain that connects patients with medications.
• Ensure a consistent supply of high-quality products throughout both clinical and commercial lifecycle phases.
• Deliver products to markets in alignment with service and lead-time objectives.
• Drive product lifecycle management by optimizing lead times, costs, and resilience.
• Define and implement product and network strategies, which encompass goods flow, SKU, and inventory approaches.
• Identify and advocate for strategic investments that promote growth, resilience, and long-term sustainability.
• Recognize, evaluate, and communicate risks that impact product quality, compliance, patient supply, and business continuity.
• Lead the mitigation and escalation of actionable supply risks, including scenarios related to patient-level stockouts.
• Own plans for business continuity, supply chain efficiency, and agility.
• Oversee inventory health, supply chain cost drivers, product costing, and standard costs.
• Facilitate data-driven, risk-based decision-making across the entire value chain.
• Represent the product in brand reviews, regional evaluations, portfolio governance, and other business discussions.
• Define the target operating model across Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics, and external partners.
• Establish strategic partnerships with Commercial, Clinical, Technical Operations, and Enterprise functions.
• Lead cross-functional matrix teams, mentor team members, track deliverables, and offer performance feedback.
• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BSc) in life sciences, engineering, supply chain, or business administration.
• 8–12+ years of experience in materials management, production planning, or scheduling.
• 5–10+ years in GMP/GCP compliant pharmaceutical operations.
• 2–5+ years of experience leading global, cross-functional, matrixed teams.
• Strong expertise in supply chain and value chain management.
• Proficiency in ERP systems; Oracle or SAP is preferred.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory frameworks, including GMP and ICH.
• Expertise in risk and project/program management.
• Ability to evaluate issues from Regulatory, Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing perspectives.
• Executive-level communication skills and influence-based leadership.
• Experience in cross-cultural/global execution.
• Strategic and operational thinking capabilities.
• A mindset focused on continuous improvement and process excellence.
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
• MBA is preferred.
• APICS or equivalent supply chain certification is preferred.
• Lean/DMAIC certification (Green Belt or higher) is preferred.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
• Experience in biopharmaceutical operations is preferred.
• Strong financial and business acumen is preferred.
• Advanced regulatory and GMP knowledge, including ICH Q8–Q12, is preferred.
• Fully remote role.
• Travel is dependent on business needs.
