This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Act as the technical lead for sales opportunities concerning integration and data management, both externally and within the Workiva platform.
• Play a vital role in the sales process by connecting technical expertise with customer requirements.
• Facilitate and steer IT discussions related to user experience and the integration of the Workiva platform within the customer's technology ecosystem.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Directors and other customer-facing teams to identify customer challenges and needs.
• Provide leadership and support with cross-functional Workiva resources throughout customer-facing initiatives.
• Create tailored solutions to address customer needs and effectively transform their finance processes.
• Partner with Solutions Consultants to develop or modify custom demo solutions for customers and potential clients.
• Offer project and relationship management for larger clients with more extensive requirements.
• Build strong working relationships based on trust with key senior customer teams.
• Collaborate across the entire finance organization of the customer to identify transformation opportunities through innovative use of the Workiva platform.
• Work alongside sales teams to construct and present business cases and proposals for customers and prospects that clearly demonstrate Workiva’s value and ROI.
• Engage with selected Workiva business partners on joint customer initiatives to deliver customer business objectives while showcasing Workiva and partner value.
• Manage or assist with client issue resolution.
• Collaborate closely with Workiva partner and customer support teams to ensure seamless onboarding of customers and their long-term success.
• Mentor and train other team members.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Technology).
• Over 6 years of progressive experience in a customer-facing role within software presales, technical consulting, and/or software implementation.
• Proficiency in both German and English.
• Reliable internet access for any duration of remote work and when not in a Workiva office.
