This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• In the role of Solution Architect, you will act as a strategic consultant and authority on Salesforce products and platforms for the company’s largest and most complex enterprise clients.
• Serve as a reliable advisor to the client.
• Identify and spearhead critical internal initiatives to enhance the consulting practice, contributing actively to the overall knowledge base and expertise within the community.
• Assist customers and colleagues in evaluating and implementing new technologies that enhance business value.
• Collaborate effectively while demonstrating strong communication skills, particularly in conveying complex concepts and engaging in creative, prescriptive thinking across various levels of a client organization.
• Proactively identify and address risk areas, ensuring issues are fully resolved.
• Manage customer expectations and negotiate solutions for complex problems involving both the customer and third-party partners.
• Review and adjust project/program direction, strategies, and key artifacts to keep initiatives on track and ensure solutions are sustainable and maintainable in the future.
• Promote a program vision while advising on and articulating program/project strategies to enable technologies, particularly the Salesforce platform.
• A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in enterprise-level projects utilizing both waterfall and agile software development methodologies throughout the entire project life cycle.
• Extensive expertise in configuration and customization on the Salesforce platform is essential.
• Advanced experience in defining the system architecture landscape, identifying gaps between current and desired end-states, and delivering comprehensive solutions to achieve targeted business outcomes.
• Proven experience in leading discovery sessions, defining business requirements, writing user stories, and providing detailed system and functional designs.
• Experience in mapping out business processes and wireframing system designs using process flow diagram tools, UML, sequence diagrams, etc., along with recommendations for future state process and system improvements.
• Hands-on technical experience with Service Cloud, OmniStudio, and Public Sector (PSS) is necessary.
• Strong presentation skills; capable of effectively communicating a point of view and clearly articulating the rationale to various customers.
• Detail-oriented individual with a capacity for quickly learning and leveraging new concepts, business models, and technologies.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; able to create materials that are suitable for the audience.
• Must be a standout team player as evidenced by customer recognition of large-scale/enterprise implementations with multiple work streams.
• An attentive listener with the ability to connect with individuals in diverse roles.
• Resourceful and innovative thinker capable of navigating and resolving challenges.
• Potential travel of approximately 25%, with specific travel requirements varying based on client needs.
• A degree or equivalent relevant experience is required.
• Experience will be assessed based on core proficiencies for the role (e.g., extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, etc.).
• Familiarity with clients in the Public Sector industry is preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce GovCloud or GovCloud Plus is advantageous.
• This position necessitates the ability to obtain and maintain a Canadian Government Security Clearance.
