This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Identifying Customer Requirements: Analyze technical and business challenges to confirm root causes and their negative impacts. Engage with key stakeholders to establish the desired future state, aligning it with success metrics and business outcomes. Assist in customer digital sales rooms by providing technical insights and ensuring alignment between sales and technical teams.
• Assessing Solution Compatibility: Facilitate workshops, trials, or proof of concepts (POCs) to evaluate the alignment of solutions with business objectives. Highlight competitive advantages to influence success criteria during trials. Guide customer teams in integrating our solutions into their data ecosystems during trials while driving measurable business results. Support the technical aspects of credit sizing estimates.
• Customer Onboarding and Development: Actively support customer engagement and business review meetings to ensure platform adoption, achievement of business goals, and enhanced customer interaction. Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling and expansion, ensuring customers recognize value by increasing platform usage through new workloads and groups. Build trusted advisor relationships with customers through regular interactions to establish technical infrastructure, rapidly achieve initial value, and foster long-term customer engagement. Monitor adoption dashboards for key success indicators, proactively promoting increased usage and ensuring timely issue resolution.
• Marketing and Thought Leadership: Develop technical content and case studies that showcase how Matillion’s solutions solve customer challenges. Represent Matillion as a technical authority at industry events, conferences, and user groups, enhancing brand visibility.
• Product Feedback and Enhancement: Gather and relay customer feedback to the Product and Engineering teams to ensure ongoing product improvements and alignment with market demands. Remain updated on industry trends and best practices in data integration, cloud computing, and data transformation, sharing insights with customers and internal teams.
• 5-7 years of experience working with Enterprise customers in a technical capacity, such as a Solution Architect, Sales Engineer, or similar roles.
• Proficiency in cloud computing platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with experience in Cloud Data Platforms like Snowflake and Databricks.
• Comprehensive understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB).
• Practical experience with technical problem-solving and integration technologies (APIs, Linux, SQL).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
