Senior Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the development of technical solutions for intricate pursuits within the Mission Technology Solutions portfolio.

• Influence customer requirements through early engagement, market analysis, and the identification of competitive advantages.

• Create proposal materials, including technical volumes, white papers, and Basis of Estimates (BOEs).

• Address RFIs and conduct market surveys.

• Implement Digital Engineering, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), DevSecOps, Agile software development, Smart Asset Management, Digital Logistics, and Cloud architectures.

• Highlight Cybersecurity and System of Systems integration.

• Mentor and develop teams while promoting collaboration and innovation among internal and external stakeholders.

• Propel technical strategy and solution development to support business growth in Defense, Intelligence, Civilian Space, and Homeland Security mission areas.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts.

• Engage with customers and internal leadership.

• Travel moderately, approximately 20–50%.

⛳️ Requirements

• Eligibility for a public trust security clearance.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Advanced degree is preferred.

• A minimum of 18 years of industry experience.

• At least 12 years of industry experience along with 6 years in business development.

• Documented experience in Defense, Intelligence, Civilian Space, or Homeland Security.

• Experience in leading the development of technical solutions for complex proposals.

• Proficient in writing technical volumes and white papers.

• Skilled in developing Basis of Estimates (BOEs).

• Capability to respond to RFIs and market surveys.

• Ability to assist in shaping customer needs.

• Outstanding leadership skills to mentor teams, encourage collaboration, and engage stakeholders.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills for interfacing with customers and internal leadership.

• Strong foundation in various technical disciplines, including Cybersecurity, System of Systems integration, IT infrastructure, Cloud, Autonomy, Data Analytics/AI, Agile Software Development, Digital Engineering, MBSE, or DevSecOps.

• Active security clearance is desirable.
